FILE 

Exit option quits the program.

EDIT

Add an Entry: Enables the user to add a new word to the database.

Correct an Entry: Shows the current word and its associated synonyms for editing.

GO

Jump to Letter: Allows user to directly jummp to the first word starting with a particular letter.

TEST

Starts the Test Option of the Verbal Workout Software.

Steps:

1. Enter Name and No. of words user desires to be tested on

2. Click OK to start the test or Cancel to exit.

3. The test word is displayed at the top of the dialog box in Capitals with 5 options.

4. Click on an alternative you think is right to choose it as the rigth answer.

5. Click Next to go on to next word, or Quit to cancel the test.

6. At the end of the test the Score is displayed along with a chance to Review the test.

7. The Review shows the words as they apeared in the test along with the selected option and the

correct alternative.The statistics for the particular word are also displayed .

8. Finally the user can get a review of 4 previous tests taken along with the current score.

SETTINGS

Browse only Tough Words: Browse through only those words marked by the user as tough using the Navigation Bar.

Time settings : This lets the user change the default time settings for the test and the automatic browse features.

Say words during browse: This when selected the words and their meanings are spoken aloud automatically in a serialized manner when the browse button is clicked. This continues until user clicks the Stop button .
